MotoFuel is built to keep your data yours. The short version: everything stays on your iPhone, there's no account, and nothing is sent to us.

What we collect

Nothing on our servers. MotoFuel has no account system and collects no personal information. Everything you enter — bikes, fill-ups, rides, service records, tire data — is stored locally on your device, inside the app.

Location

MotoFuel uses location only while you have a ride actively running, to record your route and calculate ride statistics. That location data is stored on your device alongside the ride and is never transmitted to us or anyone else. You can use every other part of the app without starting a ride or granting location access.

Fuel prices

To show fuel prices near you, MotoFuel fetches publicly available pricing data from Gasvaktin (Iceland) and the UK Government fuel price service. Nearby stations are matched on your device.

Maps

Route maps and station locations are shown using Apple Maps, which is governed by Apple's privacy policy.

Exporting your data

You can export your data as CSV or JSON at any time from Settings. Exports are initiated by you, and where the file is saved or shared is entirely under your control.

Analytics and tracking

The MotoFuel app contains no third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs. We do not profile you or track your activity.

Deleting your data

Because everything is stored locally, deleting the app removes all of your data from your device. You can also delete individual records within the app at any time.

This website

motofuel.app is hosted on Cloudflare, which may process standard, aggregate, privacy-friendly analytics such as page views. No personally identifying information is collected to serve this site.

Children

MotoFuel is not directed at children under 13.

We may update this policy as the app evolves; the "last updated" date above will reflect any change.
